The Morning Dump: 4/10/12

I hope you guys are having a good morning and are ready to go.

Jim "I will approve that loan" McMahon

How do you know your bank is going to fail?  Former Bears QB Jim McMahon is one of your directors and you follow his investment advice.  The FDIC has sued the now failed Broadway Bank and it’s directors for $104 M for giving out questionable loans.

Name your price Parcells, because the Saints are gonna pay it.

Yu Darvish’s first start of his MLB career got off to a rough start by giving up 5 runs in the first 2 innings.  Luckily he has one of baseball’s most potent lineups behind him and got his first win 11-5.

Ozzie Gullien is sorry about his Fidel Castro comments but the Cuban-American citizens in Miami might not forgive him.

2013 NL MVP David Freese

Is it too early to give David Freese the NL MVP?

The Mavericks and Lamar Odom have parted ways.  As bad as Odum looked this year, this move is good for him and his health for next season.  Get rested and get ready to contribute next season for a contender.

If I am Baylor I wouldn’t be too concerned that all the NCAA found after a 3 year investigation was you using the phone too much.  Get your wrist ready for a big slap.

I think Michigan basketball will be pretty good next year and will contend with Indiana to be the best of the Big 10.  I am going to go ahead and call the Big 10 the best conference for the 2012-2013 season.

If Urban Meyer wants a player, he gets him and his BIG 10 peers are not happy about it.

Urban Meyer is still pissing off his fellow Big 10 coaches with his recruiting practices.
