The Morning Dump: 4/16/12

Bringing on the week with some Warren Zevon this morning.  His cover of Steve Winwood’s “Back In the High Life Again” is  superb.

With the Pens down 3-0 to the Flyers, I think game 4 is going to get ugly if the Flyers take a lead early.  The President’s Cup Canucks are on the verge of getting swept also.

Tough break for the Giants in losing Brian Wilson to an elbow injury.  The only chance they had in the NL West was riding on the arms of their pitchers.  It’s between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks now.

The Angels need their investment in Albert Pujols to pay off soon with some homers.  They didn’t pay $240 million for this.

Thank you to whoever found our site yesterday by searching “Ryan Tannehill Nude”.

If Kobe’s injury isn’t more serious than the Lakers are letting on this rest he is getting should help them in the playoffs.

Seth Rogen died on Eastbound and Down last night, Kenny Powers got called up to the majors, Matthew McConaughey had perhaps the greatest line ever and the series ended perfectly.

That race Saturday night was one of the most boring races ever but I love the trophy.

Brian Stann may have the most class of any fighter, soldier and person alive.

NFL offseason workout programs start today without Drew Brees and Matt Forte more than likely not showing up.  I see the Brees/Sanits deal getting done soon but Forte and the Bears have some making up to do.

Tebow got booed at the Yankees game last night.  Maybe he should try the Mets.

Lionel Messi scored 2 goals this weekend to move to 63 for the year.  He also kicked a North Korean rocket out of the sky last week.

Lindsey Vonn owes $1.7 million to the IRS.  I predict a Playboy shoot in her near future.

Have a great day.
