Handicapping Week 16

We’re skating along .500 the last few weeks, lets try to get hot and finish the season with a bang.

Chicago Bears-5.5 at Arizona Cardinals

I’m a big Bears fan so I try to avoid betting on games involving Chicago, but this week I see a big value to be had. The Bears have their backs against the wall, needing to win their last two games to have a chance at the playoffs, while the Cardinals have been struggling all year. I look for the Bears D to get back on track and the Bears win this -5.5.

New York Giants -3 at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens have been decimated by injuries and their offense can’t seem to get going. The Giants were embarrassed last week and I look for them to come out strong in this one. Giants get up early and make the Ravens one dimensional. Take New York and lay the points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3 vs. Saint Louis Rams

Tampa Bay will play out the season like its the playoffs, they’re just that kind of team. The Rams will be good and I still think that Sam Bradford will be a very good quarterback in the league, just not in this game. I think it will be low scoring, but the Bucs win -3.

Houston Texans -9 vs. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings are worse than their record indicated, they have only one weapon on offense and haven’t beat a hot team all year. The Texans aren’t elite either, but they are head and shoulders above the Vikings. I look for Arian Foster to get it going and the Texans win big -9.

Indianapolis Colts -7 at Kansas City Chiefs

We might see Andrew Luck vs. Ricky Stanzi? The Chiefs are one of the worst teams in football and the Colts are trying to make the playoffs. All of the advanced stats say the Colts shouldn’t be as good as they are, but I do think they’re seven points better than the Chiefs, even in Arrowhead. Take Luck and the Colts -7.
