I’m taking the Dream. I think his versatility can beat Shaq’s brute strength. He can get some jumpers in over Shaq and take his D out of the equation.
I just hope he players better D on Shaq than he did on Lorenzo Charles.
While Robert Bostic and can continue our debate on who was the better NBA player, I’m fairly certain we can agree that Hakeem wins in a game of 1-on-1 over Shaq.
Shaq was a beast in his prime. He was huge, had quickness and could score at will on the inside. That being said, Hakeem Olajuwon is the most complete big man to ever play the game. He is the greatest defensive big man EVER and his offensive skills have no rival in the post. He moves better than Shaq and will have a fairly easy time scoring. He can step away from the basket and shoot or “Dream Shake” Shaq into knots in the post. Get ready for the King vs. Dream showdown. Hakeem Wins 15-9
Everyone is going hard on Shaq, but Hakeem beat him in the finals when he was still young and raw. A prime Shaq would get by the Dream.
