Top 50 Fantasy Football Rookies For 2013

Montee BallThe draft is over and it’s time to start digging through the rookie class of 2013 for fantasy gems.  To help you out, I’ve done some of the leg work for you.  If you are in a re-draft league, you won’t need to use this entire list, but if you are in a dynasty league, you need to know who all these guys are.

1 Montee Ball, RB DEN Nothing but busted parts sits in his way of starting.  3-down star.
2 Le’Veon Bell, RB PIT Had some bad performances vs. tough Ds at MSU, but has the tools to be the Steelers’ every down back.
3 Tavon Austin, WR STL Pure Electric Playmaking
4 Eddie Lacy, RB GB Surgeries and Franklin dropped him from the top.
5 Giovani Bernard, RB CIN Bernard has the speed to make it, but does he have the size?
6 Keenan Allen, WR SD Phillip Rivers gets his replacement for VJ.
7 Aaron Dobson, WR NE Meet Tom Brady’s new #1 WR
8 Cordarrelle Patterson, WR MIN Can he be the playmaker the Vikings need?
9 DeAndre Hopkins, WR HOU Andre Johnson gets his wish and gets some help.  Hopkins will beat single coverage more times   than not.
10 E.J. Manuel, QB BUF The Bills surprised on draft day, but Manuel WILL BE the best QB of   this draft.
11 Johnathan Franklin, RB GB Lightning to Lacy’s thunder.    Will get yards, but lose TDs to Lacy.
12 Joseph Randle, RB DAL Best RB in Dallas will be the starter soon.
13 Matt Barkley, QB PHI Barkley is a better fit than Vick in Kelly’s offense and he may be the week 1 starter.
14 Zac Stacy, RB STL I love this guy and he is on the rise.
15 Marquise Wheaton, WR PIT Has the tools and skills to replace Mike Wallace.
16 Stephan Taylor, RB ARI Another rookie back who has fragile backs holding him back.  Won’t wait long to start.
17 Knile Davis, RB KC Pure speed that Andy Reid will love.    Size is nice too.
18 Robert Woods, WR BUF Good routes and better hands.    Will get the ball in a fight.
19 Terrance Williams, WR DAL Big and fast WR will get Romo a deep threat.
20 Kenny Stills, WR NO Brees can make him a star if his talent can get him on the field.
21 Geno Smith, QB NYJ Has to mature or the NY pressure will crush him.
22 Justin Hunter, WR TEN Locker has to take the next step for him to succeed.
23 Stedman Bailey, WR STL Austin gets the flash, but Bailey might get numbers.
24 Mike Gillislee, RB MIA Hard runner, who could steal TDs from Miller.
25 Marcus Lattimore, RB SF Nothing in 2013, but he should be the starting RB on the NFL’s best   team in 2014.
26 Andre Ellington, RB ARI Pure speed will get him on the field.
27 Zach Ertz, TE PHI Kelly loves him and will find a way to get him the ball.
28 Chris Thompson, RB WSH If Mike Shanahan likes him he has to have potential.
29 Denard Robinson, WR/RB JAX 3rd down back, slot WR, punt returner, Kick returner, read   option QB.  He will be a weapon.
30 Kenjon Barner, RB CAR If the Panthers release DeAngelo, Barner will be the 3rd   down back.  Faster player on the field.
31 Tyler Eifert, TE CIN May become Dalton’s favorite target and safety valve.
32 Josh Boyce, WR NE Tom Brady + Anyone = A Chance To Be A Star
33 Marquise Goodwin, WR BUF Track star speed will need to climb depth chart.
34 Tyler Wilson, QB OAK Can another late round pick beat out Matt Flynn?  Wilson has a chance.
35 Mike Glennon, QB TB Mike Freeman’s last chance in here.    Glennon is waiting in the wings.
36 Travis Kelce, TE KC Best receiving TE in this draft will see the field plenty.
37 Kerwynn Williams, RB IND Undersized, but electric in the screen game.
38 Jawan Jamison, RB WSH Another late round gem for Shanahan.
39 Christine Michael, RB SEA Tons of talent, but even more talent in front of him.
40 Levine Toilolo, TE ATL Is he the heir apparent of Tony Gonzalez?  Has a chance to learn from the greatest.
41 Ace Sanders, WR JAX Gets open in space and is hard to bring down.
42 Chris Harper, WR SEA Big WR will give Russell Wilson options.
43 Cobi Hamilton, WR CIN Deep speed will help open up the other side of the field from Green.
44 Latavius Murray, RB OAK Huge back with blistering speed.    Watch him close.
45 Tavarres King, WR DEN If he’s got talent, Manning will use it.
46 Matt Scott, QB JAX He could move up this list faster than anyone.
47 Miguel Maysonet, RB PHI Has a game that Kelly loves.    Could see plenty of 3rd down action.
48 Jordan Reed, TE WSH Great size and speed for a TE.    Could become a starter.
49 Ryan Swope, WR ARI Great routes and good speed.    Palmer will find him.
50 Terrell Sinkfield, WR MIA Fast, big, strong and raw.
