When they are not busy charging fans full price for preseason games or $12 for Bud Light, pro sports franchises do some great things. On Saturday the Arizona Diamondbacks drafted Corey Hahn in the 34th round of the MLB draft. Hahn’s college career at Arizona State lasted just one week after a head first slide into 2nd base resulted in him suffering a spinal injury and becoming a C5 quad. Hahn has done great work for multiple charities and he will surely use his new opportunity to increase his reach. The Diamondbacks have vowed that this is not just symbolic gesture and have said that they plan to make Hahn a full-time employee with the organization. Great move by the D-Backs and good luck to Corey Hahn.
