TSD 2013 NFL Predictions

AFC

AFC EastBrady

New England Patriots 12-4

Miami Dolphins 9-7

Buffalo Bills 6-10

New York Jets 4-12

Even with one of the most unproductive offseasons in football, the Pats are the class of the AFC East.  Brady will have his your receiving core looking like veterans and the Hoodie will take care of the rest.  The Dolphins and the Bills will struggle to finish at .500 with their young core.  The Jets will be an absolute abortion.

AFC North

Cincinnati Bengals 11-5

Baltimore Ravens 10-6

Pittsburgh Steelers 7-9

Cleveland Browns 5-11

The Bengals will make the playoffs for the 3rd straight year, but they won’t have to worry about the Texans knocking them out in the Wild Card this year.  That’s for the 2nd round.  The Ravens will mature and be a tough out in the 2nd half.  The Steelers offense will be dormant and the Browns will be the Browns.

AFC SouthWatt

Houston Texans 13-3

Indianapolis Colts 11-5

Tennessee Titans 6-10

Jacksonville Jaguars 4-12

Houston’s defense will again be a top one and I expect their offense to be more electric with Hopkins in the mix and Foster’s role getting trimmed back.  Luck and the Colts will put up points and I expect them to make the playoffs.  The Titans and the Jaguars will fight for the bottom of the division.

AFC West

Denver Broncos 13-3

Kansas City Chiefs 6-10

San Diego Chargers 6-10

Oakland Raiders 1-15

The Broncos will be the only team worth paying attention to in the AFC West.  They are the leading pick to win it all and my pick to disappoint in the playoffs.

Wild Card Games

Patriots over Colts

Bengals over Ravens

Divisional Playoffs

Texans over Bengals

Patriots over Broncos

AFC Championship

Patriots over Texans

NFC

NFC Eastbryant

Dallas Cowboys 10-6

Washington Redskins 9-7

New York Giants 7-9

Philadelphia Eagles 4-11

This will be the year the talented Dallas Cowboys get over the hump and get back to the playoffs.  The Redskins are talented, but I’m not sure that RG3 will make it through the season.  The Giants are already injury riddled and the Eagles will be fun to watch, but they won’t make an impact in the standings.

NFC North

Detroit Lions 10-6

Green Bay Packers 9-7

Chicago Bears 8-8

Minnesota Vikings 5-11

Reggie Bush will help this offense and this is the year for the Lions defense to mature.  Green Bay will have serious trouble on the offensive line and this will Aaron Rodgers’ toughest year.  Ruth Bader Ginsburg will make the Bears a better offense, but they will struggle for .500.  The Vikings take a big step back and AP struggles.

NFC Southpayton

New Orleans Saints 16-0 11-5

Atlanta Falcons 10-6

Carolina Panthers 8-8

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-10

The Saints will bounce back with Payton back on the sidelines and will hold off the Falcons for the division.  The Panthers will have another ho-hum season and the Bucs will hold down the bottom.

NFC West

San Francisco 49ers 12-4

Seattle Seahawks 11-5

St. Louis Rams 7-9

Arizona Cardinals 5-11

The NFC West has the 2 best teams in the NFC and they will be fighting for the division all year.  I will give the 49ers the edge, but would not be surprised if the Seahawks take it.  The Rams will smell .500 and the Cardinals will struggle.

Wild Card Games

Seahawks over Cowboys

Falcons over Lions

Divisional Playoffs

Saints over Falcons

Seahawks over 49ers

NFC Championship

Seahawks over Saints

Super Bowl 48 Champion

Seahawks over the Patriots in the snow.
