It dropped a .500 week, and I’m sitting at 25-17-2 (60%). It’s in the black, but I’m not happy with it. We have 2 good games late and a handful of teams on the outside of the Top 25 looking to getting a chance to prove themselves today. Lets go.
Maryland at #8 FSU -16 12pm ESPN
Maryland is looking to continue their run and they would love to knock FSU out of the BCS picture. The FSU offense is beast, but they haven’t faced a defense like Maryland yet this season. Maryland plays tough and keeps it inside the 16 points.
MSU at Iowa Pick Em 12pm ESPN2
Winner gets ranked and the loser drops out of the “other receiving votes” category. Give me the Spartans on the road.
Georgia Tech at #14 Miami -5.5 3:30pm ESPNU
The Hurricanes are balanced and they are a serious BCS contender, but Stephen Morris will have to finish this game for them to beat the Yellow Jackets. A hobbled Morris can get by South Florida and Savannah State, not Georgia Tech. They get it done.
#4 Clemson -14 at Syracuse 3:30pm ABC
Welcome to the ACC, Syracuse. Prepare to have your ass handed to you.
Ole Miss -3 at Auburn 7pm ESPNU
The Rebels are heading in the right direction, but going 0-2 in the state of Alabama would be a big step back. They right the ship and put it on the Tigers.
#24 Arizona State vs. Notre Dame -6 (Dallas) 7:30pm NBC
Why are the Irish favored in this game? The Sun Devils have the talent to embarrass the Irish secondary and their D will give Tommy Rees hell. Sun Devils for the upset.
You wanted to spotlight, Northwestern. Now you get it. The Buckeyes come to town with a 17 game winning streak and a need to win big to impress the voters. The throwing arm of Braxton Miller will be the key tonight. The Wildcat pass defense is suspect and they will get exposed.
#18 Washington at #5 Stanford -7.5 10:30pm ESPN
Stanford will have the memories of last year’s loss vs. the Huskies for motivation and a legitimate BCS title chance to drive them tonight. Washington is for real and they are looking to take the next step get to the top 10. Give me “Late Night PAC12 Upsets” for 500, Alex.
